Summer 2012 New Offerings and Programs!

YouthCare's programs offer a variety of recreational, social and educational activities within a small-group setting. Our participants' strengths and interests are important aspects of all our programs as well as maintaining a positive environment throughout everything we do . This approach helps to build self-esteem, self-confidence and trust. Social skills, life skills and other behavioral strategies are taught within a small-group setting to help our participants learn from real-life group experiences. We offer several programs during the school-year as well as in the summer.

Social skills, life skills and other behavioral strategies are taught within a small-group setting to help our participants experience and learn from real-life group dynamics. This structure also allows our staff to provide individual attention and social coaching needed for all of our participants to grow. YouthCare also believes that the skills taught need to be consistently applied across all settings in the person's life. For this reason, we take a collaborative approach and strive to work closely with parents, teachers, providers and others involved in the child's team.
