Nancy is nominated by the staff who she
works with in the MGH Burn Service. They wrote to us "Nancy Fraser
volunteers in the MGH Burn Ambulatory Care Center. The Burn Service
is a unique practice and its patient population requires special
attention. Many of the burn patients have suffered devastating
injuries, which are sometimes accompanied by psychological issues.
Shortly after she began in December of 2000, Nancy recognized the need
for additional help and voluntarily increased her hours. Occasionally
when she or a family member has an appointment at the MGH, she appears
in the office to help with the filing.
Nancy is a great asset in the clinic by signing people in and making
appointments, always with a helpful and cheerful attitude.
She exhibits a genuine compassion and empathy towards the individual
patient, no matter what their circumstance. Her professionalism is
unparalleled and she has proven to be invaluable to the service.
She is exceedingly nice to the staff as well, and gets along with everyone.
Her presence makes the Ambulatory Center a more pleasant experience for
everyone." Nancy has contributed 346 hours of service to the Burn Service.
Thank you Nancy!
