Lisa came to the MGH in December of 1999 while she was between jobs. Lisa spent several days during the week making the discharges of our patients a little bit smoother and the wait for their ride a lot more enjoyable. Upon finding a new job, Lisa did not leave us. Instead, she chose a weekend shift that would fit into her schedule. Lisa is being honored tonight for her dedication to our program, her kindness to our patients, her willingness to help future Discharge and Emergency Department volunteers on their first days and to give feedback on each of them to Sam and Paul, and last but not least, her enthusiastic smile that from what we are told, does not leave her face for too long! Lisa's volunteer career hours total 320 hours! Thank you Lisa!
