Awards & Recognition

Special Recognition Award Recipients

In 1975 Kathleen Robbins began her volunteer career at MGH. She had recently retired from the Department of Radiology where she had worked in the Administrative Offices. During her distinguished work history, Kalthleen had also served as national president of her professional organization. In her volunteer years Kathleen served as an Information Desk volunteer. Her years of history at MGH and her commitment to our patients made this a natural fit, and Kathleen was a star. Her directions were accurate and complete; her note taking and statistics were flawless; and her devotion to her assignment: unmatched!

Today, Kathleen formally retires from the MGH Volunteer Program at the tender age of 100 years. We acknowledge you and are most grateful for the difference you have made in the lives of so many. And we thank you, Kathleen, for touching our lives and making our program stronger.
Bravo and Congratulations!
