Awards & Recognition

John Lauritzen

John has been a Discharge volunteer since December 2000 and has contributed over 120 hours. In this role, John is responsible for meeting our patients at the bedside and escorting them, by wheelchair, to the lobby, as they leave to go home. John's warmth, good nature and honesty make him a wonderful match for this role. That's easy to see when you see John waiting with patients in our main lobby. John's volunteer colleagues on Fridays tell us - he is the perfect team member, a joy to volunteer to with. We are grateful for John's commitment to our program.
