Ignacio Inglessis-Azuaje, MD
Dr. Ignacio Inglessis-Azuaje is a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his MD magna cum laude from the University of the Andes in Merida, Venezuela. In 1996 Dr. Inglessis-Azuaje received a four year scholarship from the Venezuelan National Council for Research and Technology to pursue postgraduate training at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Inglessis-Azuaje completed his internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr Inglessis-Azuaje's clinical interests include interventional cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and tuberous sclerosis complex. His research interests include Chagas' cardiomyopathy, pulmonary circulation and interventional cardiology.
