Emad N. Eskandar, MD
Dr. Emad Eskandar is an attending neurosurgeon, the director of the Epilepsy Surgery Unit, and the director of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also an assistant professor in surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Eskandar received his medical training at University of Southern California and did his residency in neurosurgery at MGH. His surgical interests include, epilepsy, movement disorders, brain tumors, and trigeminal neuralgia. His research interests include the physiologic mechanisms underlying sensorimotor integration and movement disorders, and stereotactic and physiologic guidance for functional neurosurgery.
