Surgery OnCall

The complex work of building a reliable, prospective database that will serve as the foundation for research and clinical quality improvement in the Department of Surgery is well underway with the establishment and initial development of “Surgery OnCall”.

The difficult work of linking disparate information systems is ongoing and has positioned the CCCES to begin to realize the goal of replacing retrospective, singular-in-focus, freestanding databases, with one comprehensive surgery specific prospective database.

We encourage all surgeons’ participation in helping us to develop the “Surgery OnCall” system so that it best reflects the needs of the department.
