There are 3 key aspects to the MGH Stroke Service mission:
To provide the best possible care for patients with cerebrovascular disease.
To improve the care of these patients through the highest quality research in stroke prevention, acute stroke management, and stroke recovery.
To educate our fellows, residents, medical students, and peers to provide state of the art stroke clinical management and conduct cutting edge scientific research.
Through publications, invited lectures, and individual contributions, this teaching is extended to the broader community as resources for healthcare professionals and the public.
