Biography
Dr. Savidge received his BS in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 1998, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2001 and 2003, respectively. He currently works as a senior physical therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital Sports Physical Therapy Service, with a clinical focus on hip and shoulder pathology and dysfunction. Dr. Savidge has recently completed and published a chapter on Rehabilitation Following Hip Arthoplasty and is actively involved in rehabilitation research concerning hip arthroscopy with Dr. Peter Asnis at MGH Sports Medicine. Dr. Savidge serves as a teaching assistant at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in entry-level physical therapy courses, and has been a clinical instructor with physical therapy interns. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Sports Physical Therapy Section.
