Biography
Ms. Shea received her BS in Nursing from Boston College in 1996 and her MS in Nursing from Duke University in 2003. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has successfully completed an RN First Assistant program. She has served as a clinical instructor for nursing students from Northeastern University. Ms. Shea is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses and the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, Alpha Chi Chapter.
Ms. Shea has been a valued member of the MGH Health Care Team since 1997 and has been part of the Sports Medicine Service since 2003. Ms. Shea is now working closely with all physicians of the Sports Medicine Services in the office clinic setting and as an assistant in the operating room. She provides care for patients with non-surgical problems and patients who may be surgical candidates.
