Biography
Dr. Gill graduated from Harvard Medical School, trained in pathology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, and was a Junior Fellow of the Society of Fellows at Harvard prior to joining the staff of the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In 1971 he went to the University of Pittsburgh as Chairman of the Department of Pathology and the Maud L. Menten Professor of Experimental Pathology with a secondary appointment as Professor of Human Genetics. During this time, he was also a Trustee, then President of the American Board of Pathology and is now a Life Trustee. After retiring from the University of Pittsburgh, he joined the MGH Sports Medicine Service as Director of Research.
