The Center for Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases (CIID)
The Center for Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases (CIID) The CIID is a state-of-the art multidisciplinary research center focused on basic mechanisms of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. CIID is a major laboratory research component of the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, and is directed by Andrew Luster, MD PhD, the Chief of the Division. Research in the Center focuses on the regulation of immune and inflammatory responses in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and draws from the expertise of scientists both inside and outside of the Division.
We collaborate with MGH's Cardiovascular Research Center (CVRC), Harvard/MIT's Broad Institute, Harvard Medical School and others. For more information about CIID's scientific investigations see our principal investigators' laboratory pages in the left menu.
