Project Management Office (PMO)

About Us

Project Management is planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific goals and objectives.

The QME PMO follows a five-step model of management, which encompasses:
  1. Clarify Project Outcomes
  2. Identify Players
  3. Define Tasks and Schedule
  4. Execute the Project Plan
  5. Project Closure

Mission

Leaders and Educators in project principles, tactics, and concepts. Our office is responsible for ensuring that project plans, through consultation or execution, are implemented on schedule, within budget, within scope, and aligned with Departmental strategic priorities.

Vision

The MGH Imaging QME Project Management Office will provide unparalleled project leadership through the promotion and utilization of best practice standards and Lean methodologies. All initiatives will advance the core mission and vision of MGH Imaging through comprehensive education, consultation, and leadership.
