About Us

Massachusetts General Hospital Imaging is world-renowned, with roots dating back to 1896 and the making of one of the first x-rays in the United States. Mass General Imaging employs over 100 board-certified radiologists, each specializing in one of 11 clinical areas. We perform over 600,000 exams per year and Mass General Imaging has gained distinction for its subspecialty expertise in abdominal and interventional imaging, breast imaging, cardiac imaging, emergency radiology, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, image-guided interventional neuroradiology, pediatric imaging, thoracic imaging and vascular interventional imaging.
