This technology produces highly detailed diagnostic information, which is valuable to your doctor in planning your care. Pediatric, renal transplant, abdominal, pelvic (gallbladder, liver, biliary tree, spleen, pancreas, pelvis, retroperitoneum, thyroid and parathyroid), prostate, vascular, neurovascular, rectal and breast ultrasound are performed. Radiologists from each subspecialty may be contacted directly. This website describes your ultrasound exam, letting you know what to expect every step of the way. A registered sonographer will also explain your test to you before your ultrasound exam. At all times, you should feel comfortable in asking questions of any member of our staff.
