With a medical staff of over 100 board-certified radiologists, each specializing in one of our 11 clinical areas, Mass General Imaging focuses on delivering accurate results to our patients and their physicians.
We perform over 600,000 imaging exams a year, across the full range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures at locations in Boston and surrounding communities.
All images are digitally transferred to Mass General radiologists via our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), so no matter which location you choose you are sure to receive our sub-specialty expertise along with the latest imaging technology in a caring and convenient environment.

Now available - Open Extremity MRI
 Mass General West Imaging - Waltham is now offering open extremity MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) services. This MRI scanner is specifically designed for orthopedic imaging and provides high quality scans of the knees, ankles, hands, wrists, elbows, and feet.
With a truly open design, the extremity MRI allows maximum patient comfort. Only the part of your body being scanned is placed in the scanner, while you sit in a comfortable chair. All images are read by Mass General Musculoskeletal Radiologists.
