MINDSCAPES art gala supports MGH Psychiatry

Having been ranked the top psychiatry program in the country by U.S. News & World Report for 12 consecutive years, the MGH Department of Psychiatry has long been recognized for its exceptional care. In addition to its renowned research programs in mental illnesses such as depression and bipolar disorder, the department also treats tens of thousands of patients per year.

On Nov. 3, the department will host Mindscapes, a gala art auction, to raise support for all MGH Psychiatry programs. The event will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Boston. More than 60 pieces of art in a variety of media will be on the auction block, and approximately 500 guests are expected to attend.

Says Jerrold Rosenbaum, MD, chief of Psychiatry, "MINDSCAPES is the ideal venue for friends of MGH Psychiatry and enthusiasts of fine art to join in support of our research, patient care and education initiatives."
