Effective Aug. 5, MGH Parking and Commuter Services will implement a parking rate increase for all hospital staff and employees. While MGH staff and employee parking rates have remained unchanged since 1990, the cost to the hospital for parking has increased threefold during this time. The limited number of spaces available, along with rising demand has resulted in more than 1,600 people on the waiting list for parking. The rate increase will help the MGH more effectively address these and other parking-related issues.
