James H. Thrall, MD, MGH radiologist-in-chief, is one of three recipients of the American Roentgen Ray Society’s (ARRS) Gold Medal for Distinguished Service to Radiology, the organization’s highest honor. Thrall has long been an active member of the ARRS, serving at various times as the organization’s president, vice president, president-elect and treasurer, as well as chairman of the ARRS Budget and Finance Committee. Thrall also has served as chair of the Roentgen® Fund Board of Trustees.
