Collins to join Community Benefit Program

Jeffrey P. Collins, MD, (left) medical director of the MGH Chelsea Urgent Care Center, has been appointed to the newly created position of medical director for the MGH Community Benefit Program (CBP). In this role, Collins will work closely with clinical leaders to develop community-oriented priorities for each service. Working with Joan Quinlan, MPA, director of the CBP, Collins also will serve as an ambassador and liaison to the MGH medical community.

"The MGH Community Benefit Program has a remarkable 12-year history of working with local communities, the hospital and the Boston Public Schools to improve the health and well-being of the communities it serves through a variety of innovative programs," says Collins. "I look forward to working closely with the MGH medical community to continue this mission."
