Mail Services at your fingertips

MGH Mail Services recently launched a new website for the MGH community, offering users convenient access to up-to-date information about the department's many services and resources. The new site can be found at www2.massgeneral.org/mailservices.

Among the website's features are a list of all MGH department mail codes, instructions on how to change an MGH address, commonly used forms, links to
vendor websites and access to United Parcel Service and FedEx online shipping. As a one-stop location for MGH mailing information, the website can help reduce the number of phone calls to Mail Services for routine information and requests, thereby increasing the department's ability to handle its workload an important benefit, given that Mail Services processes more than 1,250,000 pieces of mail per month.

"Mail Services consistently looks for ways to improve the services we provide for the MGH community,"says Jim Burns, supervisor for Mail Services." This new website will allow us to do that."

For more information or to share feedback about the site, e-mail Burns at jburns7@partners.org.
