In General Wenli Cai, PhD, of the 3-D Imaging Lab in the MGH Radiology Department, recently was awarded a two-year grant from the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation for his work as principle investigator for research on electronic cleansing for non-cathartic CT colonography. The MGH co-investigators are Michael Zalis, MD; Hiroyuki Yoshida, PhD; and Janne Nappi. Adrian Zai, MD, PhD, a research fellow
in the Department of Medicine's Laboratory of Computer Science, has received
the Dvora Brodie, CPHIMS, FHIMSS Scholarship from the New England chapter
of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
The $5,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a HIMSS student member who
exhibits excellence and future leadership potential in the health care
information and management systems industry. |
