Women's heart
health
The Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center launched the MGH's first
Women's Heart Health Program Feb. 15 to provide comprehensive, compassionate
cardiac care for women of all ages. The program focuses on the full spectrum
of care including prevention, early detection and treatment
in a friendly environment designed especially for women. The efforts to
create the program were led by Malissa Wood, MD, an MGH cardiologist,
and Jennifer Walker, an MGH cardiac surgeon.
