Senior HealthWISE events
MGH Senior HealthWISE will offer hypertension screenings and blood pressure checks Feb. 12, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the West End Civic Association Community at One Emerson Place, as well as a screening of the film "The Devil Wears Prada" from 2 to 4 pm in the Haber Conference Room. Senior HealthWISE also will offer a one-hour exercise session, "Get Warm, Stay Fit," Feb. 15, from 11 am to 1 pm. Lunch will be served. Registration is required for the film screening and exercise session. All events are free for seniors age 60 years and older. For more information or to register, call (617) 724-6756.

Spanish for Health Care

MGH Training and Workforce Development is offering five levels of Spanish classes to enhance customer service for the MGH's Spanish-speaking patients and their families. Beginner I and II classes will be held Tuesdays beginning Feb. 27. Intermediate I and II and Advanced classes will be held Thursdays beginning March 1. All classes will meet for 12 weeks at 165 Cambridge St., second floor, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Each course costs $75 and includes text and materials. Registration will take place Feb. 16 and 20, from 11:30 am to 2 pm outside the East Garden Room near the Eat Street Café. New Women's Heart Health Program

This month, the Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center will launch its new Women's Heart Health Program, focusing on all aspects of women's heart care. Genetics and clinical research lecture
The MGH Clinical Research Program and the Center for Human Genetic Research are co-sponsoring "Genetics and Clinical Research: Points to Consider" March 1, from 4 to 5 pm in the Simches Center, Room 3110. Lisa Lehman, MD, PhD, MSc, director of the BWH Center for Bioethics, will present. CME credit is available. To register, visit hub.partners.org. Alzheimer's film screening
The MGH Employee Assistance Program and the Geriatric Medicine Unit are co-hosting a screening of the award-winning film "Family Matters: Coming Together for Alzheimer's" Feb. 15, from noon to 1 pm in the Thier Conference Room. Barbara Moscowitz, LICSW, of the MGH Geriatric Medicine Unit and executive producer of the film, will lead a discussion after the screening.
