Pats prizes for blood donors

During the next few weeks, New England Patriots fans will have the opportunity to get a head start on the 2007 season in a unique way — by donating blood at the MGH Blood Donor Center. From Feb. 5 through 16, all MGH employees who donate blood at the center automatically will be entered into a raffle to win either a football autographed by defensive lineman Vince Wilfork or a teamjersey autographed by running back Corey Dillon. The winners will be announced Feb. 21.

The Blood Donor Center is located in the Gray Lobby and is open for whole blood donations Tuesday through Thursday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Walk-ins are welcome. For more information, visit www2.massgeneral.org/blooddonor or call (617) 726-8177.
