Nominations for the Nathaniel
Bowditch Prize
Nominations still are being accepted for the 2007 Bowditch Prize. The
$5,000 award is presented annually to an MGH employee either a
clinician or nonclinician who has made a significant contribution
to improving the quality of care at the hospital while reducing the cost
of such care. Nomination forms are available by contacting Suzanne M.
Williams at (617) 726-8254 or swilliams7@partners.org.
Nominations are due by Dec. 12 and should be sent to Andrew Warshaw, MD,
at White 506.
Presentation on Judaism and religious diversity
MGH Chaplaincy will host the two-day series "Shedding Light on Our
Diversity: Judaism and Other Traditions" Dec. 18 and 20 at 5 pm outside
the MGH Chapel. The Dec. 18 ceremony is "Jews and Other Abrahamic
Traditions: Christianity and Islam." For more information, call Rabbi

IHP information session
The MGH Institute of Health Professions (IHP) will host an information

Senior HealthWISE events
MGH Senior HealthWISE will host a free screening of "Girl with a
Pearl Earring" Dec. 12, from 1 to 3 pm in the Haber Conference Room.
Registration is required. Senior HealthWISE also will offer "A Healthy
Smile is Always in Style" Dec. 14,
from 11 am to noon in the Haber Conference Room. For more information

Domestic violence annual service of remembrance
A service of remembrance and healing for those affected by domestic violence
will be held Dec. 15, from noon to 12:30 pm in the MGH Chapel.

A memorial service for Annabel Edwards, RN, of the MGH Pain Center, will
be held Dec. 18 at 11:15 am in the MGH Chapel. To contribute a remembrance,
