Go paperless with your paycheck

MGH staff and employees can help the hospital by opting for paperless paydays. It's quick and easy, and users can review their paychecks online through PeopleSoft.

To stop receiving printed paychecks:

  • Log into your PeopleSoft Employee Self Service account at https://ibridge.partners.org/getaccess.
  • Select "PeopleSoft Human Resources Management Service (HRMS) Production."
  • Select "Self Service," then "Employee," then "Tasks," then "Direct Deposit."
  • Click on "Pay Statement Print Option," select the "Suppress DDP Advice Print" box and then select "Save."

PeopleSoft ESS is available from the desktop at work, in the Employee Access Center (EAC) or via the Internet at home. The online pay advice contains all the information currently being printed on the paper stub, including earned time balances and year-to-date totals. Users can access their pay advice online through PeopleSoft on the Tuesday afternoon before the Thursday payday. Printouts of pay advices can be printed at any time.

"With identity theft a major concern these days, having a pay advice fall into the wrong hands can be a serious matter," says Jeff Davis, senior vice president for Human Resources. "But by going paperless, employees, managers and timekeepers don't have to worry about lost or stolen pay advices. To date, 91 percent of MGH employees have direct deposit, and of those who have direct deposit, 45 percent suppress their pay advices. The MGH is at nearly 50 percent of its goal of 100 percent paperless participation."

For more information about going paperless, e-mail ibridge@partners.org, call the EAC at (617) 726-6338 or visit the EAC on Clinics 117.
