Workshop on giving effective presentations
The MGH Clinical Research Program and the Department of Psychiatry are
co-sponsoring "How to Give a Presentation" Nov. 30, from 4 to
5 pm in the Simches Center, Room 3110. Andrew Nierenberg, MD, of MGH Psychiatry,
will teach participants the tools for giving effective presentations.

Alzheimer's disease poster symposium
The Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Boston University
Alzheimer's Disease Center will co-host the 20th annual scientific poster
symposium Jan. 10, from 9 am to noon in the Thier Conference Room. The
symposium will showcase the best of local Alzheimer's disease research,
enabling researchers to meet
and share their work. Poster abstract applications are available at www.madrc.org.

Hypertension screening and discussion
for seniors
MGH Senior HealthWISE will offer seniors free hypertension screenings
and a discussion Nov. 20, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the West End Branch
Library.

Senior HealthWISE lecture series
The MGH Senior HealthWISE lecture series will host "Medicare Update"
