Workshop on giving effective presentations
The MGH Clinical Research Program and the Department of Psychiatry are co-sponsoring "How to Give a Presentation" Nov. 30, from 4 to 5 pm in the Simches Center, Room 3110. Alzheimer's disease poster symposium
The Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center will co-host the 20th annual scientific poster symposium Jan. 10, from 9 am to noon in the Thier Conference Room. The symposium will showcase the best of local Alzheimer's disease research, enabling researchers to meet

Hypertension screening and discussion for seniors
MGH Senior HealthWISE will offer seniors free hypertension screenings and a discussion Nov. 20, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the West End Branch Library.
