CFD noontime learning series
The MGH Center for Faculty Development's (CFD) noontime learning series will offer "Digital Imaging Essentials" Nov. 13, from noon to 1 pm in the Burr Conference Rooms. Alzheimer's film screening and discussion
The MGH Geriatric Medicine Unit will host a screening of the award-winning film "Family Matters: Coming Together for Alzheimer's" Nov. 16 beginning at 5:30 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. The program will include guest speaker Ellen Goodman, a columnist for the Boston Globe and a discussion moderated by Kasey Kaufman, a reporter with CBS4 News. Irvin H. Blank Commemorative Lecture
The Wellman Center for Photomedicine will host the annual Irvin H. Blank Commemorative Lecture Nov. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Shriner's Auditorium at 51 Blossom St. A reception will take place from 6:30 to 8 pm in the Burr Conference Rooms. Guest speaker George Cotsarelis, MD, of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, will discuss "Hair Follicle Stem Cells in Hair Growth and Wound Healing."
