Ojimba honored by Pope Benedict XVI

Rev. Felix Ojimba, MGH chaplain, recently was elevated to monsignor by Pope Benedict XVI at an investiture ceremony held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Orlu, Nigeria. A mass and reception were held later at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, which more than 100 of Ojimba's MGH colleagues attended. Ojimba was honored with the title of monsignor in recognition of his services to the church in Nigeria and the U.S. Since he was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1973, Ojimba has served the church in a variety of capacities, and has been a chaplain at the MGH since 1996.
