Healthy living: More MGHers graduate from Be Fit program

The newest group of Be Fit survivors celebrated the completion of phase V
of the program at a rally held May 16. Co-sponsored by The Clubs at Charles River Park and MGH Nutrition and Food Services, the program helps employees incorporate exercise and healthy foods into their daily lives.

At the rally, each team was honored with a special award. The Clinical Case Management Unit team received the "Slow and Steady" award. The "Most Motivated" award went to the Pharmacy team, while the Admitting team took home the "The Little Engine that Could and Should" award. The Obstetrics team received the "Steppin' Up" award. The Thoracic Surgery team was honored with two awards for "Most Workouts" and "Most Food Records." The Anesthesia team also received two awards for "Most Weight Loss" and "Most Be Fit Meals."

Seven new teams now are competing in Be Fit phase VI — including Clinical Research; CNY Buildings and Grounds; a group from 165 Charles River Plaza; the Wellman Center for Photomedicine and Dermatology; and the MGH Chelsea, Revere and Charlestown HealthCare Centers.
