MGH Revere patients get access to more mammography services

Mammography services recently have been expanded at the MGH Revere HealthCare Center, giving MGH patients in the Revere, Everett and Winthrop areas increased access to an important screening tool that can detect early stages of breast cancer. The health center's mammography services, operated by MGH Radiology, feature the latest digital technology and offer the same high-quality care given by the Radiology staff at the main campus.

"The experience of our patients has been that the mammography services located at MGH Revere are friendly, prompt and efficient. It is a wonderful convenience for our patients to not have to travel into Boston for routine breast cancer screenings," says Eric Weil, MD, unit chief of Adult Medicine for MGH Revere. MGH Revere HealthCare Center Mammography is open Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5:15 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 4:45 pm. Exams may be scheduled by using Radiology Order Entry (ROE) at http://mghroe or by calling (617) 724-XRAY (9729).
