Patient safety conference
Kaiser Permanente, CRICO and the Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions will host a patient safety conference "Seize the Moment: Reaching Excellence in Patient Safety" Feb. 6 and 7, at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. McGovern award
Nominations now are being accepted for the Brian A. McGovern, MD, Clinical Excellence Award, established in memory of MGH cardiologist Brian A. McGovern, MD. The award recognizes physicians who demonstrate the qualities that characterized McGovern — clinical excellence, commitment and compassion. CRP series
The MGH Clinical Research Program will host the series "Problem-Based Biostatistics for Physiologic Investigators" March 13, 20, 27 and April 3, from 3:30 to 5 pm in the Simches Research Center, third floor, Room 3120. The series is intended for investigators with moderate or substantial statistical experience. Enrollment is limited to 25, and registration must be received by March 8.
