Michael Seiden, MD, deputy chief of MGH Hematology/ Oncology, recently spoke to a gathering of cancer patients and their families at The Wellness Community in Newton about the recent media coverage of new cancer drugs. By clarifying some common misconceptions, Seiden provided a better understanding of what this new information means to cancer patients and their families. The Wellness Community provides free support groups and educational programs for cancer patients and their loved ones.
