MGH makes cameo appearance in "Next Stop, Wonderland"

92598T map.gif (2307 bytes)The MGH is featured on the big screen in the new movie "Next Stop, Wonderland," now showing in local theaters. Filmed in Boston, the movie spotlights some of the city's most scenic and recognizable landmarks, including the Beacon Hill area and the MGH. The romantic comedy follows the parallel stories of a South End nurse and an East Boston plumber. The love story ultimately brings the hero and heroine together on a Boston subway car whose next stop is, prophetically, the Wonderland station on the MBTA Blue Line.

The movie, which was directed by longtime Boston resident Brad Anderson and produced by Boston developer Mitchell Robbins of Robbins Entertainment, recently won the jury's Grand Prix award as well as the audience award at the Deauville Film Festival in France.
