MGH IHP graduate programs

Domestic violence awareness
The HAVEN program and the MGH Domestic Violence Working Group are sponsoring events throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October. Next week will feature the presentation "What's Love Got to Do With It: Working with Abusive Men," Oct. 15, noon to 1 pm, in the Walcott Conference Room 2. The program will be repeated Oct. 22, 6 pm at MGH·Charlestown HealthCare Center, second floor conference room, 73 High St., Boston. The Clothesline Project – a display of T-shirts made by and in memory of victims of domestic violence – will be exhibited Oct. 15 and 16, 1 to 4 pm, MGH·Chelsea HealthCare Center, in the Eleanor Clark Conference Room, fourth floor, 155 Everett Ave., Chelsea. Manager/supervisor courses

Speech-language pathology conference
The MGH Institute of Health Professions and the departments of Speech-Language Pathology at the MGH and Spaulding will host the Annual Conference in Medical Speech-Language Pathology, Oct. 17, 8 am to 4:30 pm, in the Wellman Conference Room. AMR ambulance services
American Medical Response (AMR), which recently became a preferred provider for Partners, has placed a representative at the MGH to facilitate ambulance and wheelchair van transportation for patients. To arrange services, call Anne-Marie Brassard in the Admitting Office, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, at 4-4267. Off hours, call the same number to connect to AMR's 24-hour dispatcher service.

Child's play
