Great American Smoke-Out
Join others at the MGH in celebrating the Great American Smoke-Out Nov. 19. The MGH Quit Smoking Service will participate in the national campaign by hosting an information table, 10:30 am to 1 pm, in the Central Lobby. A test to measure carbon monoxide levels will be available. For more information, call 6-7443.

Schwartz Center Rounds
All MGH caregivers are invited to the Schwartz Center Rounds Nov. 20, noon to 1 pm, in the Walcott Conference Room. This month's discussion is entitled "Caring for the colleague who has cancer; the discussion continues." Lunch will be served starting at 11:45 am. To register, call 4-6862.

CRP seminars
Time management
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) will sponsor the workshop "Time Management for Entry-Level Coordinators in Clinical Trials, Phase II/III" Dec. 14, 8 am to noon, in the Wellman Conference Room. Pharmacy and clinical trials
The CRP will host a lecture "The MGH Research Pharmacy" Nov. 23, noon to 1 pm, in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. The program will discuss the role of the Research Pharmacy in clinical trials. Registration is not required. For more information, call 6-1669.

CIMIT focuses on pediatrics
The Center for Minimally Invasive Therapy (CIMIT) will focus the next of its Clinical Focus Session Series on Pediatrics Nov. 17, 2 to 3:30 pm, in the Wellman Conference Room. Alzheimer's awareness
To recognize Alzheimer's Awareness Month this November, the MGH Memory Disorders Unit will host an educational booth about Alzheimer's Disease Nov. 18, 10 am to 3 pm, in the Central Lobby. For more information, call 6-2662.

Preparing for the marathon
The MGH Marathon Team has 50 pre-approved running numbers for the coming year's Boston Marathon April 19. Runners participating with the team need to raise a minimum of $2,000 to benefit the MGH Pediatric Cancer Research Program. To request a pre-approved number, call 6-8017.

Neuroendocrine lecture
The MGH Neuroendocrine Unit will present a "Symposium on Hypopituitarism" for patients who have been treated for pituitary disease with medicine, surgery or radiation Nov. 20, 8:30 am to 2 pm, at the Holiday Inn. To register, call 4
