John Cupples has been named the next president of Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where he is expected to begin in early December. He currently serves as executive vice president for the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for Aged (HRCA).

Prior to his position at HRCA, Cupples worked for 10 years at BWH, where he served in several management positions including vice president of Administrative Services. His experience also includes work in community health centers, acute care hospitals and long-term care and rehabilitation facilities.

He is a graduate of the Harvard Divinity School and Yale School of Organization and Management.
