A DIALOGUE about complementary medicine

Henry Mankin, MD, former chief of Orthopædic Surgery, James McIntyre, MD, MGH Radiation Oncology, Donna Greenberg, MD, MGH Psychiatry, and Paul Richardson, MD, from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, discussed the pros and cons of complementary medicine with patients, family and others from the MGH community March 16 in the Walcott Conference Room. The presentation "Complementary Medicine for Cancer: Panacea or Problem?" was the most recent of the DIALOGUES series, sponsored by the Friends of the MGH Cancer Center. Spearheaded by Mankin nearly 15 years ago, the series explores a variety of issues surrounding cancer and encourages discussion to help patients better cope with their illness. For more information about upcoming DIALOGUES, call 6-1063.
