What's Happening Pediatric Service Grand Rounds
A faculty meeting will take place at this week's Pediatric Service Grand Rounds, noon to 1
pm, in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. The speakers include James J. Mongan, MD, president of the
MGH, R. Alan Ezekowitz, MBChB, DPhil, chief of Pediatrics, and Ronald Kleinman, MD, chief

Ethics forum
As part of the Ethics Forum Series, the MGH Ethics Task Force will sponsor "Ask the
Ethicist," April 7, 5 to 6 pm, in the Ether Dome. Refreshments will be served from
4:30 to 5 pm. A multidisciplinary panel will field questions from the audience. To submit

Manager/Supervisor Series
Sponsored by Partners Corporate Training and Human Resources, the Manager/Supervisor
Series class schedule begins April 6 at the MGH. Classes include such subjects as
Employment/Labor Laws and the Discipline Process and Performance Management I and II.
Classes meet at various times throughout the day at Charles River Plaza, 185 Cambridge St.
Course brochures will be distributed to supervisors and managers through interoffice mail.

Durante Award ceremony
The MGH Cancer Center will recognize the first recipients of the Susan and Arthur Durante
Award for Exemplary Care and Service with Cancer Patients at a reception March 31, 3 pm,
in the Wellman Conference Room. Established this year, the award honors staff who exhibit
compassion, caring, exemplary performance and outstanding work habits in their dealings
with cancer patients. All are welcome to attend the reception.
MGH Angel Fund reception
Sculler's jazz club, located at the Doubletree Suites Hotel in Boston, is hosting a
reception to benefit the MGH Angel Fund supporting Lou Gehrig's disease research, April

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) invites all employees to visit its annual Expo:
