The MGH Cancer Center has created a comprehensive guide to help adult and pediatric patients and their families become familiar with its many services and programs. The booklet, called "A Patient's Guide to the MGH Cancer Center," provides such useful information as directions to the hospital, summaries of what patients can expect from their visit, lists of support networks and programs, and descriptions of the various members of the treatment teams. Maps, important telephone numbers and areas for writing in personal notes and contacts also are included.

Prepared by the Cancer Center's Patient and Family Support Program with input from staff, patients and family members, the guides will be available April 1 in areas throughout the center including the Cancer Resource Room on Cox 1. For more information, call Christine Foster at 6-7423.
