Nobel prizewinner to speak
about developmental research

Christiane Nusslein-Volhard, PhD, a recipient of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Medicine, will speak at the MGH about her groundbreaking work in developmental genetics. Nusslein-Volhard, of the Max-Planck-Institute in Tubingen, Germany, will discuss "Flies and Fishes – Model Organisms in Developmental Biology," as a co-recipient of the 1998 Warren Triennial Prize, the most prestigious award given by the MGH. The lecture will take place March 2, 4 to 5 pm, in the O’Keeffe Auditorium. The entire MGH community is invited.

The co-recipient of the 1998 Warren Prize, Paul Zamecnik, MD, MGH Department of Medicine, will speak at another event later in the spring.
