AMMP donation helps those in need

Members from the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) presented a holiday donation Jan. 15 to Bonnie Zimmer, MSW, director of the MGH’s domestic violence program, HAVEN, to help victims of abuse.

"We are grateful to AMMP and honored to be selected to receive this gift by an organization we have great respect for," says Zimmer. "Any amount of concrete help can make a difference to survivors of domestic violence."

Instead of having a holiday party, AMMP members made a contribution to support HAVEN and the Partners program Project Rise, which provides job training and placement to community residents receiving public assistance.
