  • Walking in a winter wonderland . . .

  • Summer treats turn in to holiday toys
This past summer, the smell of baked goods wafted through the streets near the Comer family beach house. With this money, Comer purchased stuffed animals, books, books on tape, dolls and travel games.
  • MGHers show holiday kindness
Judy Tarselli, RN, of MGH Infection Control, doesn't feel like she has done anything
special. But for a distraught couple who lost $700 in a missing wallet, Tarselli is an angel.

  • Santa treated and released
Santa Claus became an outpatient at the MGH Dec. 21 when he received treatment for real-life, non-threatening wounds on his hands caused by "reindeer antlers." Mr. Claus, known by friends and family as George Murphy, has been donning his Santa suit for the city of Boston for 30 years. Murphy's day job is captain of the Department of Health and Hospitals for the city of Boston.
  • Starlight Starbright spreads holiday cheer tonight
Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation — dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill and hospitalized children and their families — brought joy and smiles to MassGeneral Hospital for Children by sponsoring two special visits this holiday season.
  • Holidays around the world
Sleigh bells were ringing and jingles were jangling Dec. 9 as members of the MGH Patient Care Services (PCS) Diversity Steering Committee showcased table displays for the annual "Holidays Around the World" celebration in the Main Corridor.
