Santa Claus isn't the only one spreading cheer to boys and girls this year. Several MGHers participated in the spirit of the season by donating holiday gifts to families of the MGH HAVEN (Hospitals Helping Abuse and Violence End Now) program. "Many of our families wouldn't be able to celebrate the holidays without the generosity of MGH employees," says Bonnie Zimmer, MSW, director of HAVEN. Employees from MGH Patient Care Services and other departments joined with the MGH health centers and HAVEN to gather presents in the Main Corridor Dec. 10. The gifts then were delivered to families who have been affected by domestic violence.
