It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Founders 7 Dec. 18. More than 300 brightly wrapped Christmas gifts spilled out of a corner office as MGH Case Management staff members (at right) doubled as Santa's elves, readying the presents to be given to families associated with the Women's Lunch Place – a local haven for women and children who are homeless or in financial need.

Case Management staff – along with staff from MGH Emergency Department (ED), Managed Care Operations Analysis and employees from Coram Home Care, Boston Home Infusion and MediRents – donated toys, clothes, winter coats, comforters, blankets and grocery store and restaurant gift certificates to nine families (including 30 children) in need.

Like many MGHers who celebrate the spirit of the season by donating their time, money or gifts to local charities, the Case Management and ED staff hoped to spread some cheer to those less fortunate.
