Members of the MGH Revere Teen Center displayed their gratitude to rescue workers with posters such as the one below.

Community teens and staff members of the MGH Revere Teen Center gathered in a special "Beacon of Hope" ceremony at Revere City Hall Nov. 27. The program – which included the presentation of a large American flag decorated with thoughts and expressions of gratitude from community members – paid tribute to local police, postal and fire department employees for their bravery and dedication in the aftermath of Sept. 11.

The teen center, which opened its doors in September, matches Revere area youths in programs and service projects with community leaders and citizens. For more information, contact Bernice MacIntyre at (781) 485-6062.
