Senior HealthWISE seminar
MGH
Senior HealthWISE will sponsor "Healthy Foods for a Healthy You"
Dec. 7, from 11 am to noon in the Walcott Conference Rooms. Dana Brennan,
RD, LD, of MGH Nutrition and Food Services, will discuss good fats, whole
grains and simple snack ideas. This event, for seniors 60 years and older,

CRP seminars
The Clinical
Research Program (CRP) will sponsor "Preparing for an FDA Good
Clinical Practice Audit" Dec. 8, from 11:45 am to 1 pm in the Wellman
Conference Room. Staff from the regional FDA office will provide the latest
updates on FDA requirements. The presentation will clarify how and why
an audit is initiated, what auditors look for, how long records must be
kept and if electronic records are necessary. To register, call (617)

The CRP and the Partners Human Research Committee also will sponsor "Research
with Human Embryonic Stem Cells Ð What are the Regulations? What are
the Issues?" Dec. 8, from 4 to 5 pm in the OÕKeeffe Auditorium.
P. Pearl O'Rourke, MD, director of Human Research Affairs, will discuss
the definition of human embryonic stem cells, how they are derived and
relevant federal and state regulations. Registration is recommended. To

Backup Childcare vacation camp
The MGH
Backup Childcare Center (BCC) will provide a vacation camp for employees'
children Dec. 27 to 30, from 7 am to 5:45 pm, with activities and visitors
planned for each day. The fee for the entire week is $220 or $60 for each

Art fundraiser
A fundraising art salon will be held Dec. 12, from 3 to 6 pm at the Arden
Gallery, 129 Newbury St. celebrating the artwork of Katie Holt-McLaughlin,
a patient at

Holiday resource table
The Employee Assistance
Program (EAP) will offer a holiday resource table Dec. 16, from 2
to 3:30 pm in the WACC Lobby. The EAP will provide suggestions about how
to manage stress, set realistic goals, take better care of oneself and
enjoy the holiday season. The information table also will be available
at CNY, Building 149 Dec. 15, from 12:30 to 2 pm in the atrium lobby.
