MGH/Timilty
Partnership enjoys an evening with the stars Sixth-grader
Wendell Sullivan uses a planisphere to explore how stars change position in the sky.
Sullivan was among the 350 students, family, faculty and MGH mentors who participated in
the annual Science Family Activity Night Nov. 16 at the James P. Timilty Middle School in
Boston. The evening featured a rooftop observation deck, an in-school planetarium and a
showing of the popular movie "Apollo 13." Science Family Activity Night is a
collaboration between the Timilty School and the MGH/Timilty Partnership with support of a
grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
